Word Study: Worship (rough draft)


The primary imagery of this word, προσκυνέω (proskuneo), is one of physically kneeling down before a great king, often times connected to offering a sacrifice.  Many different ways to worship are mentioned, but most listed do not imply singing.  At the end of the list of verses is a list of just the Scripture reference.  Notice the majority of the references come from the Gospels and Revelation.
